If you wish to be in Europe and have a special dinner in Italy TONIGHT, Lattanzi Restaurant is the place to go.  First, you stroll down the beautiful Restaurant Row on 46th Street and tantalize your senses with the scents and smells. Then, as Italians do, sit for an aperitivo in the Giardino and chat with your friends, until you are ready to have an authentic Roman experience.  I always long to sit with Vittorio Lattanzi and chiacchierare.. Just about everything.  Just like Vittorio, his lovely wife Carla is always friendly and welcoming.

My favorite dish?  I loved the Napoleon.  This great Dolce has been rated one of the best 50 dishes in the United States by Forbes Magazines.
